The Voyageur Satchel is the ultimate heritage leather bag, perfectly sized to carry daily essentials while being comfortable and not too bulky. It will hold up to anything you throw at it - outdoors, on the road or in the office. Each bag has been meticulously cut, stitched and finished by hand and will be individually numbered.
Every aspect of function has been thought out on this design. The carry handle and strap rings have been carefully placed on the upper back of the bag but not on the flap. This allows you to open the bag while carrying it with the handle or straps and not tip the bag over. The handle is made from heavy duty 10oz leather secured by copper rivets and a reinforcement spine. It is wrapped and stitched for comfort and will conform to your hand over time.
The body of this bag is made from a sturdy 6/7oz full grain leather and has unique closures used often on marine, tactical and other industrial gear. They provide a very secure closure but are easy to use and make a very satisfying snap when open and closed.
These are customized in the shop and have a brushed brass finish.
The interior fits an iPad or tablet, standard moleskin size notepad and other goods. The interior pocket perfectly holds a West Street Leather passport wallet or cell phone and West Street Leather long wallet.
These bags are made to order. Each piece is cut from an individual full grain leather hide that will have unique variations and characteristics making a truly one of a kind bag.
